The Municipality of Figueira da Foz has published a bilingual (Portuguese/English) guide to the municipality's beaches, which is available free of charge. Four thousand copies of the guide are now available at the Tourist Office, hotels, municipal cultural venues, and some tourist attractions in the municipality.

This guide, according to the municipality, "systematizes the most relevant information about the coastal beaches and is intended to be useful to occasional visitors and/or seasonal tourists and to all those who, in some way, seek to discover this heritage that belongs to all of us and that should be valued and protected, complements the information available on the digital map at: https://sig.cm-figfoz.pt/web/mapapraias/ , and is another means of promoting Figueira da Foz as a tourist destination."
The mayor, Carlos Monteiro, states in the guide's opening text that “the 30 km of beaches, from the quietest to the most cosmopolitan, allow the people of Figueira and those who visit us to take away unforgettable memories” and that “from Leirosa beach to Quiaios beach, you will find a municipality with immense landscape diversity and distinct cultural expressions and identities, but which share the characteristic of hospitality.”
