Culture continues to give voice to Figueira da Foz, and Pedro Maralma is one of the most recent examples of this. The young singer and actor from Figueira da Foz released "Acrescentar Amor" (Adding Love), his first original single, a song deeply connected to his roots, recorded amidst memories, people, and places in the city that marked his artistic and personal growth.
After participating in the program The Voice Portugal 2025, Pedro Maralma chose Figueira da Foz to tell his story. The music video for the song was filmed in the city and brings together family members, emblematic spaces, and local references, transforming the song into a true tribute to the land where he grew up.
As part of the "May is Museum" initiative, organized by the Santos Rocha Municipal Museum, Pedro Maralma will be present next Sunday, the 17th, at 3:30 pm, in a conversation led by Paulo Sousa. The meeting also includes a small live show, with guitar accompaniment by Luís de Sousa.

More than individual talent, this trajectory reflects something greater: the capacity that Figueira da Foz has been demonstrating in inspiring creativity, culture, and new generations of artists. Among art schools, cultural events, performance spaces, and an increasingly strong connection between tradition and modernity, the city asserts itself not only as a tourist destination, but also as:
  • a place where it is possible to:
  • live with quality of life;
  • have identity;
  • inspire.

At a time when more and more people are seeking cities with authenticity, proximity to the sea, and a strong cultural component, Figueira da Foz stands out as one of the most interesting places to invest and build a future — whether to live, create, or start a business.
The presence of cultural initiatives, emerging artists, and local projects shows that the city remains vibrant, dynamic, and constantly growing. Because investing in a place is also investing in the energy, the people, and the history that make it unique.
